Not only did they eat the decorative wallboard, but also the dry wall underneath.

Luckily, the little buggers did not eat the studs!

After battling the little chompers for years, we finally hired a national company to get rid of them. So now the time has come to repair the damage. Now, we could hire a team of people to do the job, but what fun would that be? It is much more challenging to do the job ourselves! All joking aside, I am blessed to have a man who know how to do such things. So here are photos of our progress.

After a long day of hard work, Phase I is now complete! Phase II will be harder, as we have to drain, disconnect and move the water heater.
Now be honest, ladies. Doesn't this make you want to strap on a tool belt, slip on the safety goggles, and join your husbands in some home improvement projects?
