I chose this new background for 2 reasons.
- My favorite color is red.
- it reminds me of Marilyn Monroe
I am a huge Marilyn Monroe fan! I have several of her movies on DVD, collector plates, a framed sheet of stamps put out by the USPS a few years ago, books, and even a refrigerator magnet with changes of clothes.

Another little bit of trivia for you. When Marilyn Monroe sang "Happy Birthday" to President John F Kennedy, she was sewn into her dress...literally!
