Gingerbread House

The girls and I went to church tonight to join some other people in decorating gingerbread houses. Rocket Man assembled our house ahead of time with glue. I tried to assemble it, and it kept falling apart. Of course he comes home, sits down at the table and slaps it right together!
What would I do without him?!

That's pretty, I have a funny story about a gingerbread house. One year one of my preschool students mother, brought in one for me, it was so pretty I took it home and wanted to preserve it, so I put heavy coats of shellac... I cautioned my kids NOT to eat any part of it...well we had a Christmas social some kid ate all the gum drops off the back of it!!!!ugh He was 12 years old too!

So cute. My babysitter built one with my kids so I'm getting out of having to do one this year ;)

Your house turned out so great. Ours pretty much didn't survive the trip home. Of course, it was half eaten anyway. Hubby thought they gave us an extra piece and ate the chimney and, well you know, about the kids eating the rest of the candy off. It was a good time, though.
