Today starts the first full week of school. I was more nervous today than last Wednesday, because I dropped Bayba off at the door. I was telling her how to get to her classroom, and I told her if she gets confused just ask someone for help. She just looked at me and smiled and said ok. I wonder if she was thinking "I know what to do. Stop smothering me." She exited the van and went right in the door smiling and happy. I think she will have a good year.
Lil Slip is going to need some time to adjust to big sister being gone. Lil Slip didn't even get out any toys to play with today, she just followed me around all day asking questions and singing songs. Tomorrow I have a craft project to start and Lil Slip can help me with some of it.
Last week I took Bayba to the store to spend a gift card that she received for her birthday. She bought this farm set, which has many pieces but is easy for the girls to play together. At night when they clean up their toys, Bayba puts the pieces back into the molded plastic. Do you think she may be developing a little of her mommy's organizational skills?!

Its amazing what all Kindergarten students are capable of. I remember watching Lo and thinking, "holy smokes. I had no idea he could do that". Let the year of discoveries commence! :)
How much fun to have a little organizer to help you!!
My kids had a thing going on, Josh dumped out the toys and Becca went behind him picking up the toys! Worked well for a while!
How sweet... those precious babies
I have heard of miracles such as your oldest putting her toys back in the molded plastic packaging but have never experienced such in my home. You're blessed!
