Backyard Hayride

On Monday and Tuesday I cut our yard. It is actually a 4 step process, and I did steps one and 2: ride mower and push mower. Walt will do the string-trimming (or weed-eating) and raking.

Anyway, the girls decided to use the grass clippings to make themselves a hayride.

Now you are probably wondering why I was cutting grass. Is that really a duty of a Stafford Wife? Aren't I supposed to be doing my domestic chores while dressed like a sexy June Cleaver?

Well, I guess you could say I am a modern day Stafford wife. And as to why I cut grass, here is the answer.

Woman,

Thanks for working on the yard this week. Its nice to come home and not have to worry over the yard.

Rocket Man

I received this message by email Tuesday night. Yes, Rocket Man and I sometimes communicate by email, even though we live in the same house. (We have separate email accounts.) As some of you already know, he calls me Woman. Whenever he uses my actual name, I know I am in trouble!

Tomorrow's post, "How Rocket Man Met Woman"
