My husband and I have a mixed marriage.
That's right, I am an Auburn graduate and he is an Alabama fan.
A good friend of mine (also an Auburn graduate) made a very interesting observation. She says that the majority of Auburn fans have some connection to the Univeristy. Either the person attended Auburn University, or someone in their family did. On the other hand, many Alabama fans have no connection to the University of Alabama whatsoever! Such is the case with my husband. No one in his family has ever attended Alabama, nor has anyone even been to Tuscaloosa! Think of all the Alabama and Auburn fans that you know. Is my friend's hypothesis correct?
In case you are wondering, my dad graduated from the University of Tennessee and my mom is a University of Georgia graduate. My sister and brother both graduated from Auburn after myself.

Way to go, i think people who like ALabama are jut weird, ha ha. My Dad went to Bama when the Bear was there. So He is O.K.

I have to tell you that niether the Bama or Auburn fans in our family have a connection to the school.

Logan has no affiliation with Auburn that I know of, but we are big Auburn fans. Ok I take that back, we do have an affiliation there now, but we liked Auburn before that. Since I am originally from TN, I lean that way also. R--- T--- is a bad word in our family. :o)

Hey, I like Alabama. And I went to Alabama (for my masters). but I agree that most UA fans are "trailer park" fans and have no direct alma matter to call their own.
